SPARES SUPPLY CHAIN IMPROVEMENT

Our Client, a commercial aircraft manufacturer, was struggling with persistent poor delivery performance from a major supplier from which they could not disengage.
A performance improvement plan was required that would:

– acknowledge today’s true performance
– establish the root causes of delay in the supply chain
– launch a series of jointly owned working groups to tackle different aspects of performance improvement.

The task required a swift understanding of current issues, and the ability to bring the two, opposing sides together to generate a joint spirit of positive forward thinking.

ALMExp  gained sponsorship for the project from the highest level, and worked with the specialists to staff Working Groups dedicated to subjects including inventory planning, contract service level and price renegotiation and full supply chain reorganization for certain categories of part.
This work was completed within a period of 8 weeks, and the client then chose to launch the full, 12 month Programme using internal resources.

AFTER-SALES STRATEGY WORKSHOP

ALMExp provided specialist expertise with a leading expert on after sales strategy to a high profile second tier aviation supplier’s workshop. As a result, the supplier was able to develop their strategy and reorganize its after sales activity.

ALMExp were able to provide a combination of high level of training on the current/future international aviation after sales standards and also to facilitate group work sessions aiming to determine a strategy for the group.
During the workshop ALMExp professionals provided the specific training courses and facilitated the work sessions to create the output and validate the final strategy.
